This annual event, which starts on Saturday, 13th December 2014 and runs right up to Christmas Eve, comes complete with Christmas tree maze, dazzling grotto aglow with hundreds of lights, decorations, animated characters and the most cheerful elves around, recounting traditional Christmas stories of their make-believe Lapland life.
During the entire event, all of the SeaQuarium exhibits and attractions will be open and are included in the Santa package. There’s the opportunity to walk under the waves and witness the wonders of the ocean; see British sharks and Rays; encounter the rather seasonally named Turkey fish and get up close and personal with some of the latest additions to the Centre in Fantastic Phobias, which is home to friendly brown rats and giant snails.
David McCubbin, SeaQuarium’s Attraction Manager, said, “It’s great that SeaQuarium have been able to freeze the prices from 2013 and still provide such a magical, all-weather experience for the whole family. Staff have been extra busy making sure that everything is just perfect for the arrival of the great man, who stays at SeaQuarium for 12 days.”
The Santa’s child package includes entry to SeaQuarium, exploring all the displays and joining in with live demonstrations, a visit to see Santa in the grotto, own choice of present, along with a photo taken with Santa to take home for each child. Whilst the Christmas treat for adults includes a cup of steaming hot chocolate served with a snowy topping and a warm mince pie.
Prices, which have been frozen from 2013: Babies £4.99 (up to 12mths). Children £8.99 (ages 1-15yrs). Adults £9.99. There is an extra saving of 15% for Santa bookings made for 15th – 19th December.
It is essential that visitors pre-book to see Santa. Ticket Hotline: 01934 613361 or online.
SeaQuarium is open daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm and is situated on its own unique pier on Weston-super-Mare seafront.
